Quick Highlights

Austin began his trade at Chris Adams' wrestling school. He would later hold the distinction of being its first graduate.
Steve Austin made his professional debut in 1989, defeating Frogman Lablanc. However, Steve's skills would not be tested until February 23, 1990 when the teacher met the student as Chris Adams wrestled Steve Austin. Austin was victorious by disqualification. He would later triumph over his mentor again as Austin & Jeff Gaylord defeated Adams & Matt Borne (Doink).
On August 25, he entered a tournament to determine a new WCW United States champion. The belt had been vacated by Lex Luger after Luger had won the World Title. Austin wrestled all the way to the finals of the tournament, losing to a former World champion - Sting. Steve soon let go of Lady Blossom and hired a manager in the form of Paul E. Dangerously. Austin eventually lost his TV title to Barry Windham on April 27, 1992. As a part of the Dangerous Alliance, Steve was on the losing team at War Games '92 on May 17. Six days later he gained the TV title from Windham. Austin lost his TV belt for the last time at the Clash of Champions 20, on September 2. He was pinned by Ricky Steamboat. About a month after the loss, Austin began teaming with Brian Pillman. Together, and no longer with Paul E., they defeated Steamboat and future ECW champion Shane Douglas for the WCW World Tag Team title on March 2, 1993. Pillman & Austin began to bill themselves as the Hollywood Blondes. They became one of the most dominant tag teams in WCW history. The Blondes were even praised by Jesse "The Body" Ventura, as his favorite tag team.
Steve wrestled in Japan over the summer and was eventually fired by WCW'S top promoter, Eric Bischoff. He then made his debut in ECW on September 23, 1995 and made his presence felt as the always entertaining "Superstar" Steve Austin.
Steve had a very short ECW career, then he finally saw the light and came to the best wrestling federation in the world which is the WWF.
Stone Cold came into WWF as a semi-fan favorite. About only half the WWF fans like SCSA the other half were all jackasses and pantsies.
Further more I will get to the point. Stone Cold was entered into the 1996 King Of The Ring and was defently not a favorite to win. In the first round he whipe "Wild Man" (my ass) Marc Mero, Stone Cold embaressed his candy ass in the middle of the squared circle. After that he fought the little wuss Jake the Snake and just about ruined his career. This is when Austin 3:16 was born. Stone Cold took advantage (like any smart wrestler would do) of Jake's hurt ribs and destroyed him. After the match he took the mic and 3:16 was born. Stone Cold said "You can read your phalms and say your prayers, well you read John 3:16, well Austin 3:16 says I JUST WHOOPED YOUR ASS!!! Then he went on to say his other famous quote which is AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE, WHY? BECAUSE STONE COLD SAYS SO!!!" Any ways the was how Austin 3:16 was born.
